ADAPT Unveils Inspection Technology to Enhance Quality Control
ROCHESTER HILLS, MI: ADAPT Technology, a service provider of Engineering, CAD, CAE/FEA, Technical Staffing, Metrology, 3D Scanning and Quality Control Inspection announces the release of fastener / rivet inspection technology and Class-A panel inspection technology for Automotive and Heavy Truck industries.
The latest fastener / rivet inspection system and Class-A Surface inspection system aim to replace the manual methods. Featuring a one button operation that is fully integrated into a portable unit, the inspection system is designed to save time and money while enhancing quality control.
The 8-tree inspection unit weighs less than 5lbs. and inspects Class-A surfaces as well as fastener/rivet flushness and angularity. It provides instant ‘go/no-go’ results that are displayed instantaneously. All inspection ‘Instant Good or Bad Recognition’ is in the robot cell and tells the robot to proceed or reject. It provides CAD compare to part and full CAD deviation reporting and color mapping that shows clearly the difference of math data to physical parts. It also provides First Article Inspection Reports and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) using PCMM advanced metrology and 3D scanning tools.
“We are thrilled to partner with 8-tree and showcase their 3D Surface Inspection System in the leading automotive region of the world,” says Brian Smith, Owner and President, ADAPT Technology.
